About Us
Turning Barriers to Bridges
HomeBridge Therapy was created from a deeply personal understanding of how powerful communication truly is.
I’m Vanessa Saintil, M.S., CCC-SLP, a bilingual speech-language pathologist licensed in Florida, New York, and New Jersey. My path into speech-language pathology began long before I knew the name of this profession. It began when my family immigrated from Haiti and I experienced firsthand what it meant to navigate daily life without language access. As a child, I watched my parents struggle—not because they lacked determination, but because they lacked a voice in a new language. At just nine years old, I became their interpreter, tutor, and advocate. I saw how even small communication breakthroughs could restore dignity, confidence, and opportunity. Those experiences shaped not only my career, but the mission behind HomeBridge Therapy.
As I grew into my role as a bilingual speech-language pathologist, serving children, adolescents, and adults across multiple states, I noticed a consistent gap. Families often felt supported during therapy sessions but unsure of how to carry progress into daily life once sessions ended. Therapy was happening, but carryover was missing. The bridge between clinical intervention and home life was incomplete. HomeBridge Therapy exists to close that gap.
I earned my Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from CUNY Brooklyn College and bring experience across school-based services, private practice, and teletherapy. My clinical background includes work with autism spectrum disorder, speech sound disorders, language-based learning disabilities, and AAC using both low-tech and high-tech systems. Fluent in English and Haitian Creole, I take a culturally responsive, family-centered, and evidence-based approach to therapy. Caregivers are active partners in the therapeutic process, because real progress happens when support extends beyond the therapy room and into everyday routines.
At HomeBridge Therapy, communication is more than a skill—it is the bridge to confidence, independence, and connection. Our mission is to bring therapy home by empowering individuals and families with the tools, strategies, and support they need to thrive in real life.
Our Services
HomeBridge Therapy provides individualized, evidence-based speech and language services designed to support meaningful communication across everyday environments. Services are offered through a flexible in-home and virtual model, allowing us to meet families where they are while prioritizing real-life carryover and long-term independence.
Comprehensive Evaluations: We offer thorough speech and language evaluations to identify strengths, needs, and functional goals. Evaluations are individualized, culturally responsive, and designed to guide practical, real-world intervention planning.
Individual Speech & Language Therapy: Therapy is tailored to each client’s unique profile and delivered with a strong focus on functional communication. Intervention targets may include receptive and expressive language, speech sound production, social communication, fluency, AAC, literacy-based language skills, and cognitive-communication needs.
Caregiver Coaching & Training: Caregiver education is the foundation of our practice. We partner with parents and caregivers to teach practical strategies that can be used during daily routines—such as play, mealtime, homework, and daily living activities—so progress continues beyond the therapy session.
In-Home & Virtual Services: In-home sessions (Port St. Lucie & surrounding areas), teletherapy across licensed states (FL, NY, NJ), and clinic-based services (coming soon). Our hybrid service model increases access and flexibility for families. In-home therapy allows intervention to occur in natural environments, while virtual therapy provides high-quality services for families with busy schedules, transportation barriers, or limited local access to specialists.
Digital Resources & Home Practice Support: We provide high-quality digital materials and home practice tools to reinforce skills between sessions and support consistency, confidence, and carryover.
What We Do
How We Do It
Our Philosophy & Values
At HomeBridge Therapy, we believe meaningful communication growth happens when therapy extends beyond the session and into everyday life. Progress is strongest when families and caregivers are empowered as active partners—not passive observers—in the therapeutic process.
Family-Centered & Collaborative: Caregivers are central to progress. We prioritize coaching, education, and partnership so communication strategies are used consistently at home, school, work, and in the community.
Accessible & Culturally Responsive: High-quality, evidence-based services should be available to all. We meet families where they are through flexible in-home and virtual services while honoring language, culture, and lived experience.
Individualized & Evidence-Based: Intervention is tailored to each client’s strengths, goals, and needs, grounded in current research, clinical expertise, and data-driven decision making.
Focused on Carryover, Confidence, & Independence: Our goal is not short-term performance, but long-term functional communication. We build skills that generalize to real life, restore confidence, and support independence across the lifespan.
